"Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can be your greatest ally in life's search for love and wisdom."

What Is Grief

Grief is a natural, valuable and inevitable human experience.

It is a reaction to the loss of someone or something that was important to you.

Grief is an organic, unpredictable and unique experience for each of us.

There are characteristics to grief but there are no rules, stages or timelines.

Grief's challenges can affect you on many varied levels...

Difficult Rapidly Changing Emotions - Physical Aches, Pains and Fatigue  Mental Cloudiness

Lack of Focus - Depression - Lack of Motivation - Financial Hardship - Withdrawal from Family and Friends

For some people, it may even test their Spiritual Faith.

Healing from Grief can be difficult to navigate because of it's ever changing nature.

You may be affected by something one day and not the next.

It could be a memory or even something as simple as a smell or color that triggers an adverse reaction.

Grief has the power to transform the deepest core of your being.

Healing from it will give you a deeper awareness of yourself

and your place within the world.

The process can be daunting and feel chaotic.

It takes courage and commitment to face and release the pain, to regain your life.

There are many myths and misconceptions about grief that can negatively affect the healing process.

Support and guidance will greatly help you navigate and engage in the process of healing.
